No window or error message is showing but following can be found in the taskmanager: WINEPREFIX=~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/221680/pfx winecfgĪfter changing the Z drive to $HOME/.local/share/Steam In archlinux default and only option is pulseaudio. There is also the programms (x86) folder in the steam wine prefix. Here we can see that the wine prefix has win64 architecture which is an indication of the problem. If you encounter problems, please retest in a clean 32-bit WINEPREFIX before reporting a bug.

Note that many verbs only install 32-bit versions of packages. Winetricks GUI enabled, using zenity 3.32.0 Start rocksmith, enter valid credentials, wait for about 10 seconds (depending on ubisoft servers I guess), see the game vanish. (only happens if credentials are correct) Reproduction Logs: where do I find the logs if I use flatpak? This program does not edit save files in any way and does not overwrite them unless being restored. I cannot guarrantee a backup will be corrupt-free, if you try to restore from a backup that has been corrupted. If your save becomes corrupt, it is most likely a CDLC fault, not this program's. There's no catch to using this application, it just backs up your save data. I have not found a good method for detecting them automatically.Ī: If they change how the save is managed, it will need to be patched, otherwise it should work without updating, as it bases itself on directory-based backups, meaning it copies the directory the save is located in to the directory where you store the backups at.
However, if they are located at the root of the game, I know they are there. If you want to help, open an issue and tell me where the save files are located for other versions.
Q: Any chances of it working for anything other than Steam?Ī: If you made an insane setup for Rocksmith 2014 that is identical to the way Steam saves the game's save files, it might.

I only added it as I work offline most the time and wanted to regain hours I've lost. This mode lets you rack in hours on Rocksmith 2014. If you want to skip the Autoboot Delay, create a new text file in the same directory named "skipdelay.txt". If you ues multiple profiles, it'll ask for you to intervene with the correct Steam3 ID, otherwise it should run properly. On initial startup, it will attempt to figure out the save file location (using Registry). Setup uses the "Rocksmith2014.exe" name for startup backup, so rename the original to either one of the 3 in the settings or a custom one (You must specify, if you rename it to "Vidyalol" you have to specify "Vidyalol.exe" in the settings.) Manage backups, restore from within the application, and the setup is about 98% more easier than before, instincively suggesting that the previous time setting it up was 1% easy which it was. Backup Rocksmith 2014 Steam saves with this tool.
